If your water keeps pulsing (fast and slow), or the shower pump keeps cutting out, then you may need to remove the NRV (Non return Valves) from the shower. FIRST ISOLATE THE WATER SUPPLY The NRV’s are located in the bottom thermostatic control knob, where the hot and cold water pipes connect. Unscrew the hoses, and you will see the NRV’s held in place with a C clip.
Remove the C clip and NRV on both sides.
Reattach the hoses and turn on the water. This should cure the problem. If your pump still keeps cutting out, then you may need to check if it is getting enough water from your water tank. There may be an airlock in the system; check that all the pipes have been fully tightened before and after the pump.
ALWAYS USE A QUALIFIED PLUMBER IF YOU ARE UNSURE
