Can this shower be connected to a combination boiler?
Yes a combination boiler is perfect for ALL of our units
Do I need an extractor fan?
You should have an extractor fan in your bathroom, the
steam shower
’s and combination units also have these built in, the idea being to just extract the last of the steam from the unit once you have finished in the unit
What is the required water pressure?
The units will work on a water pressure from 0.5 bar – 8 bar, most combination boilers will have a working hot water pressure between 1 – 2 bar which is fine, a really good powerful shower is 3 bar, 4 bar would hurt!
Do I require a pump?
If you have a combination boiler you can not put a pump after the boiler, so to be able to increase this pressure the water would first need to be fed into a header tank and then a pump can be added between this and the shower/bath. In our experience nearly all combination boilers will already supply a water pressure that is satisfactory for a good showering experience
If you have a gravity fed system, you will probably require a pump, please see our pumps pages for further details and diagrams on the different types of water systems and the options of pumps. All our pumps are manufactured in the UK and are in stock with a next working day delivery
How is the unit connected?
All our units are very cleverly designed to be modular; this means that the unit once in situ can be pulled back out again for ease of maintenance or repair. The units come complete with a flexible waste pipe that concertinas in and out and will rotate 360 degrees, the hot and the cold are connect via flexi pipes and then just a single electrical connection is required, it really is no harder than the connecting of a washing machine
Does the unit come complete?
Whirlpool baths are complete and may just require the fitting of a head rest or control panel, steam showers and steam shower combination units come as ‘flat pack’ the bath is obviously complete and will just require the fitting together of the glass panels, this is very clever in design as all panels simply slot into one another using a channel and butt end arrangement between the panel, the engineering of these panels are so perfect that once pushed together the join is water tight and there is no need to use mastic or sealant
How long does it take to arrive?

Where are Superroom products made?
Our units are designed by a world famous company in Norway and then manufactured in China, oh its just one of the cheap Chinese products you say that why they are so cheap ‘NO’ Superroom products are far form the cheap Chinese steam showers and whirlpool baths that have flooded our market, these have: very poor design, materials, components and no Research and development. Basic things like water traps are simply missing, they are made to look the part but certainly will not perform or stand the test of time. Superroom products have world patented parts and electrical components manufactured by ‘Toshiba’ you are purchasing a product that should be costing you twice the price and then it would be cheap.
Do I get a warranty?
All Superroom products are covered by a 12 months manufactures warranty on all manufactured parts (please see the terms and conditions page for further information)
Can you install?
You can have your new unit or bathroom installed by a professional ‘Superroom Fitting Team’ these operate nationally and can not only install your unit but also offer you a whole new bathroom, including tiling, plumbing, electrics, plastering, underfloor heating, heated mirrors, one off wet rooms, infact anything you could possibly imagine for your bathroom. You may also have your unit installed by a professional fitter/plumber, do not self install always use a professional and ensure all regulations are met. Self installing may also invalidate your warranty (see terms and conditions)
Does my bum look big in this?
No the effect of the steam has a remarkable effect on this area of the anatomy
