Natural Materials

Natural Materials

Other than the vast benefit of a beautiful and natural looking bathroom there are other benefits of our natural stone collection.

Natural stone is extremely hard wearing and long lasting.  With many cheap bathroom appliances and fittings, it really doesn't take long at all for cracks to start appearing, things to start falling off and that lovely white bath or sink to have developed a nasty yellow tinge.  The materials that these products have been made out of are normally man made or altered from their original state.

Stone on the other hand has been around forever and is highly durable.  Springwave natural stone bathroom products are properly sealed and utilise the highest quality materials to ensure you can admire and enjoy them for years to come.

Springwave incorporates high quality natural materials and contemporary design to achieve ageless elegance and beauty in our products that will serve well for many years.

Vanity Furniture

Vanity bathroom furniture can enhance your bathroom in two main ways; firstly by adding some much needed storage space for all your bathroom items.  Shelving, hooks and rails are perfect for hanging out everyday items such as towels, shampoo and conditioner, soap and loofahs etc.  Where as cupboards, drawers and units allow you to store away less frequently used items such as shaving foam, spare toilet roll and clean towels.

This improves the appearance of your bath room and reduces clutter, not to mention being more practical than storing these items in other rooms of the house.

Secondly, all our bathroom furniture is of beautiful design and the highest build quality.  We find they add to a bathroom’s stylish appearance, even if not being used specifically for storage.  Items such as mirrors and shelving units can sometimes be added for aesthetics more than any thing else.  A shelving unit full of clean fluffy towels on show just implies home sweet home don't you think?

Be it modern or tastefully traditional, for practicality and space or looks, the benefits of our vanity bathroom furniture range are almost unending.

What is Sanitary Ware?

Sanitary Ware

What does sanitary ware mean?  Despite being a term used frequently in the bathroom trade it is not necessarily 100% clear to the average person who isn't living in a world of steam showers and bathroom products (like we do)!

Basically, sanitary ware encompasses all plumbed-in bathroom fixtures and fittings. Including showers, bathroom basins, WC’s (toilet), baths, and bidets.

Today, Springwave ensures that the term sanitary ware also covers the affordable luxury of steam showers, whirlpool baths and saunas.  We are proud of our high quality, elegant and efficient products.  Feel free to browse our products, for ease of selection each has been given then their own sections.

In this section you will find all our toilets, bidets, taps and sinks/basins.

Toilets & Bidets

Siphonic Flush System

Let’s be honest, everyone can fully comprehend the benefits of owning and using a modern toilet.  They are a requirement in any home or business in the western world solely for the purpose of hygiene let alone convenience and privacy!

This section intends to highlight the features and benefits of our particular products. For example all our toilets incorporate our advanced ‘Out & Out’ flush system.  The siphonic flushing action ensures that your Springwave toilet will flush everything away.

The siphon-flush-valve system (invented by Albert Giblin), utilises a lever or button, forcing the water up into the tank siphon passageway which then empties the water in the tank into the bowl.  The advantage of a siphon over the flush valve is that is has no sealing washers that can wear out and cause leaks, so it is favoured in places where there is a need to conserve water.

Inner Glazed

This literally 'sucks' any water and waste out of the bottom of the toilet rather than slowly pushing it out as the traditional gravity feed method would.  This uses less water and allows you to flush again in 3-4 seconds rather than waiting for around 20 seconds as you would have to for a traditional gravity fed cistern to re-fill.

As well as our advanced flushing system, all of our toilets are fully glazed inside and out.  This prevents any build up of dirt and bacteria and keeps the interior pipes spotless and hygienic.

All of these factors mean lower maintenance costs - be it cleaning or replacement of seals as well as reduced water usage meaning less wastage and lower water bills.

The toilets all feature button flushes, so no ugly handles, as well as soft close lids which prevent any accidents with slamming lids.
