Realizing your property’s potential

Bathroom Before After

If you are thinking of adding some saleable value to your home and you don't want to undertake extreme construction projects, spend a little time on the 'smallest' room in your house.

Here at Springwave we want to show you that even a small bathroom can be transformed into a relaxing and sophisticated home spa.

If your bathroom is victim to a dated avocado suite or is looking a little drab, a few improvements could add vital selling potential to your home and also dramatically increase your property value.

In all home improvement ventures there will be the question of expenditure vs. added value.  A quote from the B&Q spokesman on the BBC website says that a;

"bathroom upgrade is likely to pay for itself in added market value."

Bathrooms tend to be a sticking point for buyers.  If they do not have to hassle themselves with refitting a bathroom which is clearly out-dated and in need of a face lift, then that’s another plus to your property.  Not forgetting, that the bathroom is subjected daily to a lot of household use.

If you really feel like increasing the value of your property a home spa is the best way to go.  No buyer is going to forget about the house they viewed with steam shower or whirlpool bath.

'The Bathroom' website suggests that;

"Makeovers do not necessarily add value to your home, however they can help to sell a home"

Bathrooms are not solely for function, they can ultimately be a worthwhile investment for you and your home.  Should you decide to sell, consider your 'smallest' room and ensure that it's a plus point within your property.
