Shower Heads!
There are many different types of shower head available on the market, but depending on what your specific requirements are, determines which shower design will work best for you. There is a wide range of showers from handheld to showers on a sliding pole, drencher, jet showers, hose showers and many more.
Temperature and pressure are commonly controlled by a thermostatic valve, which will detect changes in water pressure and temperature and respond accordingly. Some thermostatic valves even allow you to preset the temperature so that when you turn the shower on it achieves the desired temperature. More state of the art models come complete with digital control panels and remote control, so the shower can even be started without even stepping in.
Handheld showers should be considered, even as a secondary shower head, as they come in handy when rinsing off the side of the bath or shower tray etc. They can also be fitted to a slider rail, enabling the height of the shower to be adjusted easily for each user. The most important factor to bear in mind when choosing a shower head is individual design and features – most modern shower heads are available with multiple spray options. Huge shower heads, often ceiling mounted, have also become popular, designed to totally drench the shower user in seconds. Multiple jet showers are another big trend, comprising not just one shower head, but a host of side jets sprays.
