This sleek concealed valve has a twin lever control system enabling you to customise both water pressure and temperature. Fitted on a clean, modern panel, using chrome and brass to ensure the product is durable and prevent any corrosion from occurring. The valve is concealed, allowing it to fit flush against tiles. This is sure to not only make your bespoke bathroom look aesthetically pleasing but also more safe, for you and your family.
The thermostat will maintain a constant temperature for your water, no longer will people using the downstairs taps affect the temperature when you are having those showers. The thermostat controls the temperature of the water, helping to maintain it at a constant level. A manual valve wouldn't be able to do this as it only supplies water, hot and cold through the pipes, to the respective bathrooms. The temperature of this is simply down to the user and their reflex speeds if it's too hot.
This valve complies with the Build Cert TMV2 scheme (see below) therefore, the worry of potentially scalding water coming out at first, or during a shower within your bathroom is no longer a reality.
TMV2 Compliant - A government recommendation that all bathroom functions are covered with a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV). This prevents potentially scalding water entering through the pipes to your skin. Domestic hot water temperatures range up to 55C and above, enough to scald a young child in seconds. TMV prevents any chance of this happening as it will shut down any flow of water, if failure of cold water occurs.
This product has been designed to work off low pressure water supplies, from a minimum pressure of 0.2 Bar and up. Meaning, it can be used in nearly all types of bathroom design.
